East Boldre has two village halls which are available for hire. These are East Boldre Village Hall and the School Fields Hall which are featured on this page.

Home of the Alan Brown Gallery of historic photographs, this 100 year old building is uniquely situated in open heathland in the heart of East Boldre. It is the larger of the two halls in the village and features Free WiFi, a main hall (70 m2) with a stage, a meeting/small function room (33 m2) and fully equipped kitchen. It is suitable for exhibitions, private functions, plays, film shows, meetings, regular clubs and group activities. It has been used as a base for hiking and orienteering clubs and has been used as overnight accommodation for a local conservation group. This hall is part of the old village school and features a kitchen, playing field, a children's adventure playground, basketball area, skateboard arena, tennis courts, and ample parking . Regular groups using the hall include the Painters Group, Yoga classes and coffee mornings where you can borrow a book or swap a jigsaw.

On Friday 1 April 2011, East Boldre Village Hall was awarded £560 from the BBC Radio Solent Community Chest. This allowed us to buy fifteen new folding tables to replace the ageing, wobbly tables we had. A Big Thank You to Radio Solent and the Community Chest.
